Stockdales cares for and supports children and adults with learning and physical disabilities and very complex health needs. We are a registered charity based in Sale, Cheshire and have been proudly supporting children and adults with disabilities from all over the North West for more than half a century.
Stockdales runs 4 lovely houses, Ashton, Harboro, Hayling and Headonhey providing residential and short break support to those with the very highest needs. Through our Lifeskills service we help people with learning disabilities to develop their confidence and independent living skills.
We are proud to have supported some people in our houses for more than 35 years. Other people with disabilities use our services as and when they need them for short breaks. Overall, we support more than 60 people and their families through our residential services.
Our Lifeskills service offers day support to more than 150 young people and adults with learning disabilities. We help people to live happy and independent lives by offering a wide range of educational, recreational and social activities. In this way, Stockdales gives people with learning disabilities the opportunity to reach their full potential.
We have a dedicated team of more than 100 highly trained staff lead by Emma Morris, who reports to a Board of Trustees. We rely heavily upon the generous voluntary and financial support of people who recognise our very special work. Please visit our volunteer and fundraising sections for ways you can help us.
