A Right Royal Affair
Stockdales did it in style inviting friends, family and local residents to come along to help us celebrate the queen’s 90th birthday. Cakes, sandwiches and scones with clotted cream and jam were order of the day accompanied with a cup of tea or even a glass of bubbly!
A huge thank you to Wellfield junior school Choir who once again didn’t disappoint entertaining us with a medley of songs. Also thanks to all the bakers who donated lots of fabulous cakes for our homemade cake stall. They proved to be a big hit!
The little ones marvelled at the balloon modeller, had fun on the bouncy castle and had their faces painted whilst the grown-ups sat back and enjoyed lovely tea and cake whilst taking a chance on the tombola and picking up the odd thing to brighten up their gardens.
Thanks to all who came along and made the day such a great success, helping us to raise £590 towards our work.
