Easter comes early!

Easter has come early for Stockdales as we received donations of over 100 chocolate eggs in the week leading up to Easter. The donation came from GE Capital on Old Hall Lane and from the Co-operative supermarket in Ashton on Mersey.

GE capital donated eggs to several local charities including Stockdales, along with 20 teddy bears that employee-volunteers had hand stuffed as part of a volunteering scheme. The Co-operative ran a special appeal to their customers to donate Easter eggs for the charity, to which they had an overwhelming response.

We’re really touched that both companies thought of Stockdales for their Easter appeals. Our service users were overjoyed when we handed them out. It’s been big smiles all round because people certainly like their chocolate here

We’d like to say a massive thank you to everyone at GE Capital and to the staff and customers of the Co-op in Ashton village. You really can’t put a price on kind acts like these. It really means an awful lot to us and the people we support!
