Stockdales is a local registered charity in Manchester supporting children, young people and adults with learning disabilities. Like all charities, we’re always grateful for your kind donations – any amount you can spare will make a huge difference to the essential work we do, and to the people we work with.
Each year we aim to raise £250,000. This helps cover the cost of lots of things such as holidays, activities, transport, specialist equipment and developing our vital services.
Every penny counts and your donations really make a difference, helping people with disabilities to have new experiences and learn new skills.
Here are some ideas of how your donations help us:
£5 – ingredients for a Lifeskills cookery session
£10 – materials for an arts and crafts session
£20 – petrol for one of our trips out
£50 – helps run one of our social clubs for a month
£100 – helps buy sensory garden equipment
£500 – helps us take people on holiday
£1000 – helps us buy sensory lighting for our play therapy area
