Founded in 1953, Stockdales has always been at the forefront of caring for children and adults with serious learning and physical disabilities, earning a reputation for excellent care in superb surroundings.

We support those with profound disabilities and provide loving residential and respite care of the highest standard in a friendly, homely environment.

Chief Executive Emma Morris has over 20 years knowledge of learning difficulties and is very ably supported by 7 experienced managers and a well-trained and dedicated team of carers.

Personal requirements always come first and all care is tailored to individual needs. Members of staff are well qualified and highly motivated; all undertake further training to the highest standard. We work very closely with parents, social workers, schools, colleges, healthcare professionals and local authorities to ensure continuity of care.

Ashton and Harboro provide for children, who will benefit from respite or residential care, for a few nights or for weeks at a time. Hayling and Headonhey are home to thirteen adults.
