18 OctOur guests certainly did their fair share of dancing at our recent Autumn Ball. We held the Rio Carnival themed event at the beautiful Radisson Edwardian, Manchester. The evening raised £15,813.79 for Stockdales, which is amazing!

24 SepThe Cheshire Freemasons have been great supporters of Stockdales over the years. They have helped us with all sorts of projects which have such a difference to people with learning disabilities. So you can imagine our delight when they were able to dig deep once again with a lovely donation of £2000. This helped us with a much needed upgrade of the specialist lifting equipment in our residential homes. This is essential kit that moves people around safely and is kind to our staff too. Big thanks to the Freemasons for giving such a win-win!

04 SepHuge congratulations to Gary Phillips for organising a cricket match between Stretford under and over 35s. Unfortunately rain stopped play and the result was a draw. But the game raised a mighty £521 for Stockdales, which is fantastic.

02 SepWe were delighted to receive £2,000 recently from Trafford Council through their Inclusive Neighbourhoods Grants scheme. The grant will be used to fund sessional teachers for our Stockies Juniors weekend club for children aged 5 -16 year with learning disabilities, autism and life-limiting conditions. The club helps the kids to engage in play and fun activities, just like other children do. More information about Stockies Juniors and how it helps can be found here.
