We Love to Party!

Every year we celebrate the festive season by arranging a huge get-together of service users, staff, families, friends and volunteers.

For the last couple of years we’ve used local hotel, The Cresta Court, for our parties which has worked really well for us. The hotel has also been very generous to us in terms of their support – we cannot thank them enough!

There are usually around 150 people at the party. Everyone gets dressed up for an energetic evening of dancing and lots of eating and drinking, of course.

The DJ plays a mix of current tunes and old party favourites. The dance floor is full from start to finish, with dance moves ranging from the usual to the more complex (we had some break dancing this year and people doing “The Worm”).

So, you’re probably getting the picture about our party. It’s an eventful night which brings everyone together at a special time of the year. You know Christmas is nearly here when it’s the Stockdales Christmas party!
