We’re looking for new Trustees!
Could you join our Board of Trustees, collaborating with the existing longstanding team to make a difference in the lives of local children and adults with learning disabilities and their families?
Stockdales is an independent charity based in Greater Manchester, established in 1953. With over 70 years of experience helping people with learning disabilities live life to the full, join us and be a part of something very special!
A voluntary trustee at our charity offers the chance for additional fulfilment. You will see first hand that your efforts contribute to the well-being of others.
Previous Board experience is not essential. What is vital is your ability to enthusiastically advocate for our charity. You will be involved in making key decisions that steer the charity and contribute to Stockdale’s goals.
What to expect?
As a Stockdale’s Trustee, we’d like a commitment of approximately seven hours a month.
A trustee receives relevant and ongoing training and full support from our Board of Trustees and CEO.
You’ll receive a full induction to our independent charity and the chance to learn about our work and the difference we make before committing. We welcome a chat with one of our existing trustees.
What’s in it for you as a voluntary Trustee?
- Chance to make an impact
- Professional Growth
