Donations
Each year we have to raise £250,000.00. This helps cover the cost of lots of things such as holidays, activities, transport, specialist equipment and developing our vital services.
Every penny counts and your donations make such a difference, helping people with disabilities to have new experiences and learn new skills. You can see how your money helps here.

Single donations
You can make a one-off donation easily and securely here to help our work. Or you can send a cheque payable to ‘Stockdales’ to the Fundraising Team, 34 Harboro Rd, Sale, M33 5AH. If you’re a tax payer, don’t forget to fill in our Gift Aid form and send to us so we can claim an extra 25% on your donation from HMRC.
Regular Giving
By giving an amount every month means we can rely on a regular flow of money. These donations might go towards new sensory equipment, residential trips or any number of other ways to make life more enjoyable for the people we work with.
It’s easy to do. Simply complete a standing order form, or donate online securely and we’ll count on you as one of our valued supporters
Don’t forget, if you’re a UK taxpayer you can fill out a Gift Aid form. We can claim an extra 25% from HMRC for every donation you make.
Gift in your Will
Are you dying to be different? Help our wheels to keep turning when yours have stopped.
Making a will is important. It’s like having a voice when you’re no longer here. And without it, the people you love and the causes you support won’t get the gifts you want them to have. Can you imagine that?

How to do it
Do you know how easy making or changing a will is to arrange? And Stockdales, along with your solicitor or will writer, will help you every step of the way. If you’ve already made your will, and you’d like to leave something to us, please fill out our legacy codicil form and send it to your solicitor so it can be included. Your donation, no matter how big or small will be much appreciated
Did you know gifts to charity are also tax free? They lessen the burden of inheritance tax and make a real difference to the people we support. So do something remarkable today and help our future.

In Memory Giving
Asking people to donate to charity when you’ve lost someone you love is a thoughtful gesture. It’s also a special way to celebrate their lives too. So why not consider Stockdales? We could have been close to the heart of your loved one or you might be looking to help a local charity.
Many people now choose this lasting tribute in place of flowers at a funeral. Most undertakers offer coordinating in memory donations as part of their service. However, people are also welcome to make donations through relatives or send directly to us. Where we have the donor details, we’ll send an acknowledgement and thanks. We’ll also let you know how much was raised.
You can be safe in the knowledge that this thoughtful gift will go a long way to helping people who need it the most. We need funds to buy state of the art specialist equipment, maintain our vehicles and buildings, go on holidays, fund our Lifeskills Activities, develop our services including our special projects such as Dream Days, Social Clubs and Children’s Club.

Celebration Giving
It’s time for you to celebrate! But in a different way. Celebration Giving is where you donate to charity when you have a celebration. You might be getting married or have a special birthday and ask your guests to donate to charity instead of buying a gift. This is a great way to do something meaningful and worthwhile to celebrate a special time in your life.
So, why not choose Stockdales? You can set up a Justgiving page online and get your guests to donate. The money comes straight to us and you can also keep track of how much you’ve raised. Or you can collect your donation cheques made payable to ‘Stockdales’ or get your guests to send them directly to us: The Fundraising Team, 34 Harboro Rd, Sale, M33 5AH. We’ll send an acknowledgement and thanks to people where we have the details and we’ll also let you know how much you’ve raised.
We’d also be happy to send you stuff to help you with your fundraising, such as balloons, collection envelopes and tins. Just ask us if there’s anything you’d like help with and we’ll do our best to support you!
