Golf fundraisers tee off with £6,000.00

Around 80 of our supporters and local business people took part in our Golf Challenge at Sale Golf Club on Wednesday 20th June. The event raised a MAGNIFICENT £6,000.00!!

Former United legends Dennis Irwin and David May (left in photo) were among those who took to the green, along with Manchester singer Cole Page (also pictured, right in photo).

Players had the chance to take part in several competitions, ranging from best individual score to best team. The golfers also had the chance to win a car by getting the hole-in-one required. Unfortunately no-one managed this!!

Prizes included golf, memorabilia, Manchester City hospitality for four people and a weekend break.

Our chief executive, Emma Morris (pictured) said: “I’d like to say a massive thank you to everyone who took part and made the day such a huge success. It means so much for us to have this support. Well done to everybody who took part!”
