Volunteers add colour to Stockdales

We recently got a makeover thanks to a generous bunch of volunteers.

Staff from property firm GVA gave up their free time and unleashed their DIY skills at our main site and at one of our residential houses.

The group was tasked with decorating some rooms which included painting skirting boards and doors. Outside they turned their hand to painting a garage door, a porch and a large fence!

GVA runs a “give a day” scheme which allows employees to go out into the community to put something back.

Our project manager, Jill Dobson, organised things at this end and made sure our volunteers were well fed and watered.

Jill said, “We’re absolutely thrilled with the hard work and effort of the GVA employees. They really got stuck in and the fence in our driveway looks really smart. The volunteers also helped to paint some doors and rooms at one of our residential houses too. We really cannot thank them enough.”
