“Wrong” trousers……right result!
The school raised £327.00 for Stockdales by holding a Wrong Trousers day, dressing up in trousers they wouldn’t normally wear for school. Parents also boosted the total by making generous donations to the appeal.
Deputy headteacher Alison Daniel said, “The school decided to support Stockdales because it is a local charity. We encourage our children to think of others and give generously to causes locally, regionally and internationally.”
We recently gave the children an assembly to explain more about the charity and how the money raised would help.
Thanks to all who kindly donated – it’s very much appreciated!
