Casino Royale evening proves to be a Licence to Thrill!

Sale Rotary Club has raised over one thousand pounds for Stockdales at its recent Casino Royale evening! Over one hundred guests attended the glittering event held at the Britannia Country House Hotel in Didsbury.

The evening was hosted by Alex Leigh, a Timperley based international and promotional model  and Emma Phillipson. Guests enjoyed a reception drink with the chance to mingle followed by a buffet meal. There was entertainment from vocalist Lisa Lawton who sang a medley of James Bond themes as well a selection of pop music.

Professional croupiers hosted roulette, black jack and poker tables. Guests could play with ‘fun money’ and the person with the most number of chips at the end of the evening won a prize.

Auction prizes included donations by Manchester City Football Club, Neil Barrett Photography, Manchester Phoenix, Sale Waterside and Taylors of Sale.

James Eisen, President of Sale Rotary Club said, “We are very proud to have worked closely with Stockdales this year in raising much needed funds for a very worthy cause. The evening was a great success and we hope that we are able to repeat this again next year.”

Natalie James, Fundraising Manager at Stockdales added, “We are thrilled that the Rotary have chosen to support us in this way. It really means a lot to us. The event was well organised and very enjoyable. We cannot thank Sale Rotary Club enough!”

A truly trilling experience!
