A BIG thank you to generous Eamonn

The Managing Editor of the Manchester Evening News has given our Diamonds Appeal to raise £60,000 a boost.

Eamonn O’Neal was invited to present the Be Proud Awards at Manchester Town Hall recently. Eamonn writes a weekly column in the Sale and Altrincham Advertiser and  is also a broadcaster for BBC Radio Manchester. he got into the spirit of the event, which celebrated the contribution volunteers make to their communities, by donating his £500 fee to our appeal.

He said: “I’m delighted that the Advertiser is supporting Stockdale sas it’s an amazing local charity. The staff and the volunteers do great work and they dedicate their lives to helping those who need support. My very small donation will help boost the Advertiser’s total as we celebrate Stockdales 60th anniversary next year.”
