Christmas Fair 2013

Christmas fair 2013

Our Christmas fair on Sunday 1st December certainly went with a festive bang! It was a very special day. Everyone who came along really enjoyed themselves and seemed to get into the Christmas spirit.

We also managed to raise £1,000.00 to put towards our invaluable work helping people with disabilities.

Our main attractions were the two lovely donkeys, Billy and Danny, who were very well behaved and lapped up the attention they got. They happily let the kids feed them and gave rides too.

Santa paid us a visit and all the children who saw him in his grotto received a present. The Winter Wonderland Disco proved to be a great hit…..with “real snow” and a dancing penguin and reindeer!

People picked up Christmas gifts, listened to the wonderful Salvation Army Brass Band and enjoyed bratwursts, mince pies and mulled wine.

Special thanks goes to everyone who helped in the lead up to the fair and on the day, to the kind people who donated gifts and prizes for our tombola and to everyone who came along and supported us. We really appreciate it!
