A Magical Evening

Our recent Autumn Ball proved once again to be a truly magical evening. Held at the superb Radisson Blu Edwardian in Manchester and hosted by BBC Radio Manchester’s Becky Want, the evening raised over £19,000 to help us with our work supporting children, young people and adults with learning disabilities.

It really was a night to remember and our most successful event this year! Guests came from near and far to support our annual headline fundraising event. The evening kicked off with a  champagne reception, followed by a 3 course meal with entertainment by the fabulous Dominic Halpin and the Honey B’s. Following dinner the pace increased with the charity auction where some serious bidding took place. Then everyone took to the dance floor and partied until the small hours.

Our chief executive, Emma Morris said, “Everyone at Stockdales is completely bowled over with this fantastic result. As a local charity, we rely on the income we raise through the various events we hold throughout the year.
