Do you want to make a difference to people with learning disabilities? Could you help them learn new skills and become more independent?
Stockdales has been supporting people with learning disabilities for 65 years and we need experienced people to help us deliver our high quality sessions. We have recently developed our timetable and are looking for Sessional Teachers to take the lead with some of our exciting activities and develop a 12 month program for each subject.
We have a number of sessions over 3 days:
- Monday 10 – 3pm – PSE (Independent living Skills)
- Tuesday 10-12 – Cookery and 1-3pm – Dance
- Wednesday 10-3pm – Performing Arts
You must have a teaching qualification/PTTLS and experience of working with people with learning disabilities is preferred. You will be working with adults and children to help meet their learning, physical, social and emotional needs by leading a program of interactive activities.
