Keeping it Local!

We’re delighted that local company Venom IT have chosen to support Stockdales. The company is planning to raise £3,000 during their time working with us, which is simply amazing!

Already supporting a national charity, Venom wanted to help a local organisation too. Managing Director, Becki Powell, had already been to a couple of our Christmas Fairs with her son Chester. She also knew of the organisation from living locally too, so was aware of what we do helping people with learning disabilities. After consulting with staff, they agreed Stockdales would be their local charity partner.

It was great to welcome some of the Venom team to Stockdales HQ to show them how we make a difference to people. And we were totally thrilled when they said they wanted to support our work. Venom aim to raise money for us in a number of ways including regular office dress down days, coffee and cake mornings, car washing, football ticket raffles, sponsoring our Autumn Ball, supporting our Golf Day and through sponsored challenges.

It looks like the team at Venom are going to be busy with all of this and we’re thrilled to have them on board! Big thanks to them for choosing Stockdales and recognizing our work in this wonderful way. It means so much to us and everyone we support.
