Lets get Remarkable Ruth to £70,000 for our 70th Year!
Ruth’s been a loyal supporter and volunteer for Stockdales for 25 years. And with the support of her friend Gill, has raised an incredible £69,200
She started raising money in 1998 by knitting dolls and selling cards and that grew to collecting bric-à-brac and selling at car boot sales.
Then the pair gained a regular spot in the Sale branches of Tesco and Sainsbury’s selling lovely bits and pieces. And more recently outside local Co-ops.
Even the dreaded COVID didn’t stop her, as she set up a small table on her front drive and still managed to raise money. There’s nothing stopping her when it comes to supporting Stockdales!
She’s given up hours of her time each week, sorting and selling for Stockdales. And she does it all from her own dining room!
Ruth’s worked so hard for us and we know you’ll agree, she’s is a real super star and deserves our very special thanks.
She only has £5,000 to get to her target of raising £70,000 for our 70th Birthday.
