The Trafford Centre is Stockdales new Charity Partner!
We are thrilled to announce that Stockdales has been chosen to be a charity partner of the Trafford Centre until October 2024.
The Trafford Centre Fountain Fund is a charity initiative which divides all coins thrown into the Centre’s Fountains between three specified charities each year. It is a huge honour for Stockdales to be chosen – and our focus for the year will be Stockdales Children’s Club – our vital weekend social club for children with Learning Disabilities.
In addition to gifting the coins in the fountain, the team at the Trafford Centre are keen to host and participate in a range of fundraising events and challenges. Over the coming weeks Stockdales will be working with the Trafford Centre to put together a diary of events to raise money and promote our work with families.
Emma Morris, CEO, Stockdales, said: ‘We are delighted to be working with the Trafford Centre. Our work with Stockdales Children’s Club is so vital to children and their families. Having a presence within the Trafford Centre will mean we can fundraise directly with shoppers – and who knows, we may even be able to find new families who would value a Stockies place!’
Richa Patel, Community Development Manager, for the Trafford Centre, said: ‘The Trafford Centre Fountain Fund is a wonderful opportunity for all of us at The Trafford Centre to support charities in Trafford and Manchester. Stockdales Children’s Club is a fantastic resource for families. We were so moved to hear of how valued it is as a club for children who rarely get to socialise at the weekend. Every child really does deserve to play! We can’t wait to work with the team at Stockdales – it’s going to be a fun year!’
