They Did It!

Our wonderful volunteers Ruth & Gill have reached their target of raising £70,000 for Stockdales 70th year. How incredible is that!

Ruth started raising money in 1998 by knitting dolls and selling cards and that grew to collecting bric-à-brac and selling at car boot sales.

Then the pair gained a regular spot in the Sale branches of Tesco and Sainsbury’s selling lovely bits and pieces. And more recently outside local Co-ops.

They are having a well-deserved break over Christmas and will then be back in Tesco Sale and The Co-op Timperley with their stall.
